The annual ITS User Group Conference, attracts some 450 delegates and continues to be one of the largest gatherings of tertiary administrators in Southern Africa.

From Senior Managers to on-line users, the Conference affords our delegates a unique opportunity to network with their colleagues in the higher education sector. To focus, not merely on discussing enhancements to the ITS Systems but also administrative procedures, business processes and common problems which are encountered within the support structures of institutions of higher learning.
The Programme – divided into four broad tracks, covers all aspects of tertiary administration from Student administration through to Finance, Human Resources, Library and Management Information. Keynote Speakers are invited to address the delegates in plenary sessions whilst separate track sessions are designed to be highly interactive and informative covering the sub-systems and processes in greater detail.

Over the years the User Group has also developed strong ties with our vendors, in the Information and Communication Technology industry and encouraged partnerships with a variety of service providers to the Education Sector. These exhibitors have become an integral part of the Conference Programme, adding variety not only to the Technical Sessions but also in the special Exhibitor Sessions where company representatives have the opportunity to present papers on the latest technology, new products and the service they provide. Exhibition stands are situated in the main Conference Foyer area, providing maximum exposure for exhibitors. During conference, delegates are encouraged to visit the stands.

The Venue for the Conference rotates annually between the various regions of Southern Africa.
